on saturday was mankato's first Girls on the Run event. kaylee ran her first 5k and i even got to run with her! we had over 200 participants which was incredible for our first community event! we raised tons of money and more importantly we got to spread the word about Girls on the Run. here are some highlights from our day.

What a wonderful cause! I love the whole concept of Girls on the Run! I ran in one of their fundraiser events a couple of years ago...and my car was broken into while I was at it! Lame! I am so glad you are working for such a fabulous program, and that Kaylee can be involved too!
Way to go Kaylee! And way to go Carrie for getting it all together and helping to bring a great cause like this to Mankato. And surviving all the preparations and the whole event. Relax a little now. Well, maybe in another week you can relax more. Get through your class first!
